9.8 BCM of gas was produced in Ukraine in the first half of 2015, which is 200 MMCM or 2% less compared to last year. Oil and condensate production amounted to 1.26 million tons, the drop comprised 130 thousand tons or 9%. Such results seem particularly disheartening compared to last year’s situation. Let us recall, gas production increased by 150 MMCM in the first half of 2014, and there were all the prerequisites for further growth due to problems with Russian gas purchase.
