In January Ukrainian gas production increased by 35 MMCM (2%) to 1.73 BCM and oil and condensate decreased by 30 th. tons (13%) down to 190 th. tons. Meanwhile production companies have been showing different trends in production of hydrocarbons. Private companies have increased volumes thereof by 24% while state-owned companies continued to stagnate having fallen by 2.5%.
